Our Wild Silver from Fozi Mountain in Fujian province is a rare treat. This sublime white tea is comprised of 100% downy, silver needle buds that are hand-picked from a semi-wild tea garden high in the mountains. The process of plucking these buds by hand at elevations up to 2600 ft can be very challenging, but the reward for such effort is a rare and unparalleled treasure. The resulting tea is profoundly fresh, with enticing aromas of cotton candy, green tea mochi, and white peach. In the tea liquor, we find a thick and jammy plum-like sweetness, with a lush, rounded body, and incredible lingering sweetness of late-season prairie hay. The tea buds hold up well to 2 or 3 steeps. This is truly a Tea of Character not to be missed!
