Herald’s Honey Orchid Oolong Tea, also known as Mi Lan Xiang, is a Phoenix Dan Cong charcoal-roasted tea, and is known for a profoundly complex aroma and flavor. Historically, to be a true Dan Cong tea, the leaves must be plucked from a single bush. Today it usually means the tea was made from a single-cultivar. This Mi Lan Xiang cultivar hails from the famous Wudong Mountain area and its unique character features a distinct and clear minerality. In the cup we find notes of juicy plum, floral aromas of peony and gardenia, a honey-like sweetness, and a full, lasting finish.
